All right! The WGA and studios have scheduled a new talk for November 26. Sure, that doesn't guarantee anything but at least the sides have scheduled a sit down. Find the details of the talk here:

I'm going to be editing this weekend and probably doing little, if any, typing.
I'm also looking around at new laptops. I'm in need of an upgrade. Any recommendations?

I'm in love with my new Dell 1520- and not just because it's yellow. This thing is practically indestructible, lighter than most other 15inch laptops, has the best keyboard I've ever typed on, and, okay okay, is in a fun color.
I've been looking at those, too! And yes, I'm fine admitting I was drawn in because they have a pink one. LOL I'm really glad to hear you love yours since that makes me want to consider it more.
Are you a PC or a Mac girl?
I'm definitely a PC girl, Barrie. Never tried a Mac.
I've just bought a new HP - it's small and has a screen that turns round and you can use to write on... it has Vista and I'm not having any problems with it.... though I'd heard people don't like it.
I've been looking at HP, Sara, and they look great. I've used Gateway for 10+ years and am finally looking at other brands.
Yes, I'm a bit worried about Vista not working with some of my programs, but we'll see. My dad has Vista and loves it. :)
