Harry Potter, anyone?

Did anyone see HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS part 2 this weekend?? I can't wait to see it! I'm a huge HP fan. I've read all the books at least twice except for 7. I've been so busy with work over the last year, though, that I still haven't watched DEATHLY HALLOWS part 1 on DVD yet nor did I make it to the theater when it came out last year.

Are any of you guys Harry P fans? Or not? Did any of you see the movies and not read the books or vice versa? I did catch an interview with Daniel R on LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY last week and was so shocked that he was turning 22 soon. In guess, in my head, he's still The Boy Who Lived. :)

Let's talk some Potter. :)

Jessica,
It was fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat the WHOLE MOVIE. No kidding. It was GREAT! When are you going to see it?

I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan; I mean my room is gonna be in Gryffindor colors! :)
I just saw it recently and I was AWESOME! To me, it felt slower than Part 1. I found myself tearing up for Snape which suprised me, and I also started sobbing for Fred, Remus, and Tonks. My only regret is that Neville didn't say one of my favorite lines for him, and that Part 1 didn't actually show/make clear that Peter Pettigrew dies, but oh well.

My old daycare person (her name was Cindy and the most AWESOME person I new) LOOOOOOVES HP! That & The Wizard Of Oz. She has HP (and WOO) ALL over her house. It's CRAZY! She read EVERY book-then re`read them when they came out in movie form :) And then (od course) there is my brother---he kinda screwed up though. He works at an AMC movie theater (WHICH IS AMAZING-I can go there for FREE and when I went there for the first time.... It was sooo cool! They have red LEATHER RECLYNERS!) Anyways-so he got to see the pre-screening... but my dad told him to come home RIGHT after (he is 17) instead he went to his buddies house and didn't come home till after six-BUT STILL he got to see the pre`screening :)

I LOVE HP!!!!!!! I saw the midnight showing on Thurs and it was AMAZING!!! I was crying too.... though Voldie didn't turn to ashes when he died in the book and HP and Voldemort did NOT fall off a cliff together. But the rest was suuuuuuuper good!!!!!! I wore my Slytherin House tie along with lightning bolt earrings!!

I LOVED it! I went to the midnight premiere and ended up crying half the movie, and even cried for Snape! I think Molly Weasley got the biggest cheer in my theater when she killed Bellatrix! You HAVE to see the movie!

Did you guys know that J "K" Rowling ("k" because she actually doesn't have a middle name) has more money than the former Queen of England? And to think she started out as a struggling single mom! :) I actually haven't read any of the books (I've been meaning to dot hat)and I've only seen a few of the movies, but I loved them nonetheless. :)<3 Sam

I LOOOOVE HP! I went to the midnight premiere in 3D. I even got limited edition Harry Potter 3D glasses! I wore my Slytherin T-shirt, Slytherin and Hogwarts crest pins, and my wand. I've read and own all the books and movies (except DH p.2), and read/watched them sooo many times. And of all the parts that I could have cried at in part 2, I cried at the end because it's OVER! I guess I'll keep re-reading the books and re-watching the movies. But the movie was epic!!!!!

The movie was SO good and you totally have to see it though I felt like they should have added some things but it was in all what I expected it to be. You have got to see it!!! :)

I really like Harry Potter, although I feel that the movies are not all that good....but that might be because I am a serious bookworm. I will watch HP7 P2 after another week or so, because I'm hoping the line will be slightly shorter.

The movie was amazing, but as good as the canterwood books. I agree with the divine writer, I was on my seat the whole time. In my small town the theater showed the first part and second part back to back, like a big long movie. Mcgonagal was hilarious in the movie, unlike the book. If you've seen the movie you know this quote from a scene Neville" Your really giving us permission to make the castle go boom?" Mcgnagal"BOOM!"

OMG. I'm a great HP fan too! I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 the day it came out. I realy, really enjoyed it and it was epic! Some part you were laughing, others crying. A mix of emotions, really. It was awesome. I also read the series. I'm up to book 5, the Order of the Pheonix. I think the Harry Potter series would be my favourite after Canterwood Crest, of course!

I LOVE hp!!!! I'm seriously one of those proud-obsessed-with-harry-potter people lol. :D
I saw it and it was the DEFINITION of amazingly epic. It seriously was. But some of it was really sad... I was crying about Fred, Remus, Tonks, SNAPE... and the flashback for snape and lily was really good but also sad. :,(
I think the only think that they kind of messed up with was who they picked to play lily as a girl. A major story line that comes up over and over again in the books and the movies is people telling harry he has his mothers eyes. but in the movie, the girl playing young lily had brown eyes, not green. I don't know if they noticed that or not, but yeah...

Mcgonagal, molly and nevile are epic in this btw. and there's a bunch of funny parts. xD but also epic. :D
