Skype your school and win!

Still writing like mad, BUT, I wanted to give you guys a chance to win a signed copy of the Canterwood book of your choice! This contest is open to US residents only (though Canada and other countries are welcome to enter (I do Skype outside of the US), I am unable to ship your prize. Sorry!)

Here's what to do:

Ask you parent, librarian, teacher, book club leader, etc., to have me as a guest author this fall via Skype.

Give them my Website address: which has all of the information about my visits. Or, they can e-mail me at jess _ burkhart AT hotmail DOT com.

If they contact me and we arrange a visit, I will e-mail you for your address and ask which Canterwood book you'd like me to sign and send.

This will be a contest that I'll leave open through the fall as I know many of you can't get in touch with your teachers over the summer.

Leave a comment if you're going to ask and I'll keep an eye on my inbox! I hope to "see" you via Skype in your classroom this fall! :D

HI! I'm leaving a comment! LOL, I will be asking my new teacher if we could Skype with you. It would be a amjor opertunity to get some input on your writing. Maybe even my Librarian would Skype with you.

I would love to hear what you have to say, and how you get your idea's-me being a writer also.

The quiz is now up on the Canterwood Crest Website! I think it's fun and cute. :)

Totally random, but I'm getting SUPER excited about the Twilight movie. Crazy excited. Like maybe I should read Twilight for the third time excited. I can't wait.

This weekend, I'm going to be a hermit and stay in. I'll be writing non-stop and getting that word count meter bar moving.

All set!

Apologies about the difficulties with downloading the video! The awesome Jo at Glass Slipper Webdesign walked me through it and everything is all set!

If' you've already downloaded the video, please try to download it again--it won't charge you.

If you haven't, I hope you check out my first installment for young writers! :)
